Event Description

Jan. 12, 2018 - Deep within, silence draws us into a place of peace. Dropping down into the center of our consciousness allows us to breathe deeply and focus our attention on simply being with non-judgmental awareness. This shared practice creates a matrix of co-creative, transformational energy and hope all over the globe. Come to Prairiewoods (120 East Boyson Road in Hiawatha) for this weekend retreat led by Carole Butz; Betty Daugherty, FSPA; Judith Edwards; and Rev. Zuiko Redding. They will guide you to explore centering prayer, meditation and other contemplative practices. This weekend retreat (Jan. 12–14) will afford ample quiet and reflective space, an opportunity for deep restfulness and for finding a spiritual practice to ground the soul and to carry into the daily rhythm of life in the world! The cost is $230 and includes sessions, lodging and all meals. The commuter fee is $180 and includes sessions, Saturday lunch and dinner, and Sunday lunch.
