Himalayan Singing Bowl therapy is a holistic therapy that has been around for many years. It was first used by Tibetan, Nepalese, and Indian spiritual healers to create a sense of balance in the body through sound.
The singing bowls Laina plays were handmade in the Himalayans in ritualistic ceremonies with chanting and prayer. Each bowl is unique, produces a beautiful sound, and creates strong vibrations that relax, soothe, and encourage healing.
During the session, you will be on a comfortable massage table and will enjoy the bowls being played on and around you. The session closes with a brief Reiki treatment.
Laina learned the art of Singing Bowl Therapy from Maria Dummermuth in Cedar Rapids, IA and Suren Shrestha, founder of the Atma Buti Soul Medicine Sound & Vibrational School in Boulder, CO. She is a certified singing bowl practitioner.
